The specially designed Proficiency course in Spoken English is structured to improve the overall English competency of the students across the four skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing. It helps the learners to develop their ability to use English grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary with confidence and accuracy. It makes use of innovative and exciting materials to encourage students to speak as much English as possible, and ensure that language learning is a fun experience. The proficiency course is a crash programme of 100 hours' duration covered in 50 working days. The minimum qualification is Graduation with English up to Intermediate level. A certificate of Proficiency in Spoken English is awarded to the successful candidates. The following techniques and strategies are used in the course:
